IKM Gruppen buys 100 percent of the shares in Sigma Inspection AS. The agreement was signed on Thursday December 30. 2021.
Sigma Inspection AS gets a new owner, but continues under the same name and with the same management.
The company is based in Stavanger and supplies services to the oil and gas market offshore and onshore, as well as to the fabrication yards, onshore mechanical industry and onshore infrastructure such as railways and bridges.
In a press release, the IKM Group writes that Sigma Inspection will complement the total services IKM delivers within this segment, including a special metallurgy department.
– With the purchase of Sigma Inspection AS, IKM has strengthened its market position within NDT and metallurgical specialist services, as well as secured additional resources and equipment for both existing and future contracts, the press release states.
